We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, including credit, debit, or pre-paid cards with a logo from one of these companies.
We also accept payments via PayPal, ApplePay, and GooglePay.
Your account will be charged immediately when you submit your online order.
Why do you need my email address and telephone number?
We ask for your email and telephone number during the checkout process in order to provide you with updates about your order. These updates may come via email (including your order confirmation and shipment tracking number), or via a phone call from our Customer Service Team.
You are added to our email newsletter list automatically after placing your order. You may opt out of receiving these emails at anytime.
How long does it take for you to ship my order?
We ship most items within 2-5 business days (Monday – Friday, excluding US holidays). This means that it takes 2-5 days before we give the package to the postal service, regardless of paid shipping upgrades (for example, if you pay for Express Mail at checkout).
Some items take longer to process before shipping, which is stated on the item page (just above the Add To Cart button).
How do I know the price in my country's currency?
By default, prices on our website are shown in US Dollars (USD). If you are located in a country other than the United States, the website may recognize your location and present prices in both USD and your country's currency. You may also click on the pricing of a product to select a different currency. Please note: This is strictly informational, and may not reflect the exact currency exchange rate at the time of your purchase.
All orders are charged in US Dollars. The prices show in your order confirmation and other transactional emails will be in USD. If you are making a purchase from outside of the United States, your bank or credit card will present the charge in your currency, based on the most recent international currency conversion rate, and any other applicable fees your financial institution may charge.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
How much does shipping cost?
Domestic Orders: All domestic (orders shipped to an address within the United States) are charged a low flat-rate shipping fee of $5.00. These orders ship via First-Class / Economy Ground service. Expedited shipping services available at checkout.
International Orders: All international orders are charged a low flat-rate shipping fee of $16.95 (excluding some heavy items, such as clocks, mattress pads and some gift items). These orders ship via First-Class / Economy Ground service. Expedited shipping services available at checkout.
What shipping service do you use?
Most orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. Some items are shipped via UPS or Federal Express (FedEx).
I paid for Priority/Express shipping – why hasn’t my order shipped?
Each item on our website has a specific processing time prior to shipping (see How long does it take for you to ship my order? above). Items with longer processing times still require the full processing time, even if you select expedited shipping.
Any domestic orders with paid shipping, including Priority Mail, and Express Mail, will receive preferential processing, which often leads to a faster overall order delivery time.
What countries do you ship to?
We ship to most places in the world, but we do NOT ship to the EU or UK, due to the GDPR.
To see if we ship to your country, simply add an item to the shopping cart and proceed through checkout to the Country drop down menu. * Note: we reserve the right to refuse shipment of certain items to countries that are considered high-risk for incidences of fraud.
Will I have to pay taxes, duties, or customs fees on my international order?
Customers within the United States do not have to pay any taxes, unless the order is being shipped to California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, or Virginia. Due to the constantly evolving nature of tax laws, THIS LIST IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. To see if your shipping location requires that sales tax be paid, please see the pertinent section in the checkout page. SALES TAXES COLLECTED ARE REQUIRED BY LAW AND ARE COMPLETELY NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Customers outside of the United States are responsible for any duties or customs fees that may be assessed by applicable agencies. All customers are responsible for knowing their country's import policies, and must be aware of any restrictions or prohibited items. BillyTheTree is not responsible for any items seized by governmental or customs officials.

International orders can be delayed in some instances by customs; please note that this is outside of our control, and you should contact your local customs office to inquire about such delays.
How do I track my order?
If you provided us with an email address when you placed your order, you will receive an email within an hour of your order being shipped out. The email you receive will include a link that will allow you to track your package via the website of the shipping service used.
*Tracking for international orders: The United States Postal Service tracking service provides limited tracking on some packages after they leave the United States. It is very common for package tracking to stop when your package arrives in your country and is under review by customs officials. Tracking is usually updated again after the package has cleared customs in your country. Please exercise patience if you notice that tracking on your package has stopped once it has left the United States.
Postal tracking indicates my package has been delivered, but I don’t have it. What should I do?
Please follow these steps:
- Check your mailbox and any doorways for a bubble mailer envelope or a small box. This is what most items ship in, and this envelope or box can fit in most mailboxes.
- Double-check with any neighbors, particularly if you live in an apartment complex or other similar types of buildings.
- Contact your local Post Office and provide them with your tracking number
If, after following the above steps, you still can’t find your order, please contact us.
Why are there items missing from my order?
To ship orders as quickly as possible, we ship from multiple warehouses. If you ordered multiple items and did not receive all items in the package that you received, your other items will arrive in a separate shipment.

SIZING
Why are the some measurements
of products given in "mm"?
The dimensions or measurements for jewelry and watches is usually shown in millimeters (mm), except for length, which is shown in inches. To convert a millimeter measurement to centimeters or inches, simply use your internet browser to find the conversion (example: go to Google and type, "22mm to inches").
Some of our items include an image of the product on an inch grid to help you get a better idea of the size of the item in inches.
How do I determine my ring size?
Our website lists finger ring sizes using the USA size chart.
To determine your USA ring size: Measure the area of your finger where you will wear the ring. Use a flexible measuring tape and wrap it around that area. You can also wrap a piece of string or paper around your finger and measure the length of the string or paper. Once you have your measurement, you can use this ring size chart to find your size:
*Note about Wide Band Rings: If you are purchasing a ring that is wider than 6mm, you should consider ordering a half size larger than your usual ring size. Wide rings cover a larger part of your finger between the knuckles, which means that your usual size will probably be too tight. If you are ordering a 10mm or 12mm wide band ring, we recommend that you select 1 full size larger than your usual ring size.
* Note about Comfort Fit Band Rings: A "comfort fit" ring means that the ring has a rounded shape on the inside of the band. Traditionally, rings have had a flat design on the interior of the band. Those rings are referred to as "standard fit."
Comfort fit rings slide over knuckles more easily and feel more loose than a standard fit ring because there is less metal in contact with the finger. If your ring size is based on a standard fit (flat interior) ring, you should consider selecting a half size down when ordering a comfort fit ring.
How do I determine my size for a link bracelet or a cuff bracelet?
The most accurate way to know your bracelet size is to measure your wrist. Using a flexible tape measure, measure right around your wrist bone. If you do not have a flexible tape measure, you may use a piece of string, piece of paper, or any flexible material: simply wrap the material around your wrist bone, make a mark or hold the spot where the pieces meet, and then put the material next to a ruler. You now have your wrist circumference (wrist size).
How do I determine my size for a bangle bracelet?
To measure the size for a bangle bracelet, you need to measure the width across your knuckles. To do this, make a fist and place it flat on a table. Measure from the middle of the first knuckle (index finger) to the middle of the fourth knuckle (smallest finger).
Bangle sizes are usually given in millimeter (mm) and that measurement indicates the diameter of the bracelet opening. You will need to select a bracelet with a diameter measurement at least as big/bigger than your knuckle-to-knuckle measurement.
How do I determine my size for an anklet?
The most accurate way is to use a flexible tape measure. Measure right around your ankle bone. If you do not have a flexible tape measure, you can also use a piece of string, piece of paper, or any flexible material: simply wrap the material around your ankle bone, make a mark where the pieces touch, and then put the material next to a ruler. You now have your ankle circumference (ankle size).

Magnetic jewelry can be worn by anyone – male, female, young, or old. Magnetic jewelry should NOT be worn if you have a pacemaker. If you have any medical implants, or have any concerns regarding wearing magnetic jewelry whatsoever, consult with a physician or other qualified medical professional before use.

How do I determine my size for a magnetic link bracelet or anklet?
We offer custom sizing for some magnetic link products. You can see the sizing options on the product page, in the drop down menu to the right of the product image. Sometimes, due to the size of the links on a particular style of bracelet/anklet, it is impossible for us to match the exact measurement that you have selected. We will always do our best to provide you with the closest match in size.
How are magnetic link bracelets/anklets measured?
The length of a magnetic link product includes the clasp on both ends of the bracelet. The clasp size differs from style to style, but usually totals about 0.5 inches to 0.75 inches of the product’s length.
Should I wear a magnetic product tight against my skin?
This is a matter of personal preference. You should order a magnetic jewelry product based on your personal comfort and preference, as you would for any other piece of jewelry.

Where did the name "BillyTheTree" come from?
The name BillyTheTree is the result of a late-night brainstorming session when Robin, the owner, was founding the company. The concept behind BillyTheTree was - and still is - to bring you unique jewelry that you can't just find at every corner store. He wanted a name that stuck out and was unique.
Billy is the name of the tree you see in our logo, and he's the company mascot -- but a rather humorous fact is that we've never even had a Billy work here!
